  • Pick up right where you left off in the original Sim Settlements 2 story, and continue the quest to rebuild the Commonwealth.
  • Expands upon the backstory of the Gunners, giving them a prominent role in the Sim Settlements 2 story.

  • Your efforts have attracted the attention of several groups that will appear in the Commonwealth, each with stories you can help shape.
  • The CPD is a group of citizens that have come together under the banner of the prewar police departments, in an attempt to deal with the growing Gunner threat. Help them gain a foothold and decide the type of organization they'll become - one of peace and justice or of order and vengeance!
  • The Nightingales bring with them knowledge of old medicines and healing arts, and are committed to helping everyone, regardless of which side they fight for. Will you convince them to take up your cause or allow them to remain a neutral player?

  • The sudden explosion in population you've helped encourage has brought with it pollution and disease. You'll need to encourage cleanliness, and bring medical services to bear to keep your settlements from being overrun by the invisible toxins of the Wasteland.
  • New building classes and disease mechanics add another layer of depth to settlement mechanics.

  • The influence of your settlements will have an impact beyond their borders, encouraging people to move in and settle the otherwise uninhabitable buildings - dynamically moving into those structures over time.
  • Concord in particular is seeing an explosion of activity. New residents with unique backstories and quests will begin to move into the area.

  • Establish a massive headquarters and use it as your seat of power to manage the Commonwealth how you see fit.
  • Clean, build, and upgrade a large interior facility. Staff it with the Commonwealth's best and brightest, and work with them to research powerful technologies, and run a large organization to its destiny.

Expanded World Repopulation

  • The World Repopulation system will be getting extensive additional functionality, allowing it to reach more buildings in the Commonwealth, and include more than just residential locations.

Greatly Expanded HQ System

The initial release of HQ focuses primarily on the initial establishment and construction phases, but HQ will ultimately be so much more.

  • COMPLETE! Exterior Defenses - The outside of HQ will be made to support defenses, which of course means a raid system your people can test their mettle against.
  • COMPLETEDisaster System - HQ was designed to play as a facility management sim, one of the key systems for this sort of gameplay is a series of problems for the staff to deal with - think fires, floods, theft, critter invasion and more!
  • COMPLETERemote Management - HQ represents the end-game activity to help funnel all of your settlement efforts into a single purpose, to help facilitate this, a series of remote tools is coming to allow for managing your settlements from within HQ.
  • COMPLETEExpanded Departments - Several of the departments will be expanded on greatly to give them a more clear purpose within your organization. Each will be given a distinct role to fill and unique things you can do with each to give you plenty to explore and customize.
  • COMPLETEQuality of Life - Many tools and improvements will be made to ensure HQ becomes your absolute favorite place to call home!
