Beta Test

Dear Pathfinders,
Beta version of patch 2.0 is here! 

How do I participate?

In order to keep your saves unaffected, we have created a separate folder for your beta saves (this is the reason why cloud saving will not be available). If you want to continue your main playthrough in the beta, simply open your Pathfinder: Kingmaker folder and copy the files from the 'Saved Games' folder over to 'Saved Games Test'.

To take part in this beta test, you will need to switch to the 'betatest' branch. Here’s how it’s done:

I. (optional) If you want to continue your main playthrough in the beta, copy your save files from "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker\Saved Games"
to
"C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker\Saved Games Test".
To avoid problems with the main version of the game, we don't want the beta version to mess with your older saves. For the same reason cloud saving will not be available for the beta test.

II. Activation on Steam and GoG.

Steam 
 

1. Right-click on 'Pathfinder: Kingmaker' in your Steam library.

2. Choose 'Properties' in menu.

3. Switch to the 'BETAS' tab.

4. Enter the code Ms0SJWRhSRuo in the 'Enter beta access code...' field.

5. Click on 'CHECK CODE'.

6. Pick 'betatest - Version 1.2' in the 'Select the beta…' field.

7. Click on 'CLOSE'.

To opt out beta choose 'NONE - Opt out of all beta programs' option in 6 step.


 

How to report bugs?

You can report any issues you run into straight from inside the game. There are two ways of doing that:

I. By pressing F!! and clicking the 'Report Bug' button on the right.

II. To help us even more, use the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Shift+B while pointing with your mouse cursor towards the bugged object (be it a creature, an item or a spell).
This will let us sort through your reports much quicker!

Both automaticly sending technical information such saves and logs
